Support this educational and competitive learning experience for those working in the arboriculture industry where the highest level of professional skills and safety are showcased to award the 2022 Champion.

We are returning to the Detroit area for the 28th Anniversary, showcasing the rich history and natural beauty of Belle Isle Park; a Detroit gem and a Michigan state park. The 987-acre island park features the Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory, the Belle Isle Aquarium, Dossin Great Lakes Museum, giant slide, athletic fields, picnic areas, tennis courts, Belle Isle Nature Zoo, the James Scott Memorial Fountain and more attractions popular with all ages and interests. The park includes three lakes, 150 acres of wooded area and spectacular views of the Detroit and Windsor skyline. Rentals available for: Watercraft, Bike, Snow Sports. Food and ice sales available. Recreation Passport Required for entry. You do not want to miss participating in this event!

What is the Arbor Fair?
The Arbor Fair will be concurrent with the Michigan Tree Climbing Championship and is a free educational and fun event for the general public that highlights environmental issues and promotes proper tree care. The Arbor Fair features educational exhibits, interactive children’s activities, and much more. At this year’s event we've invited distributors and artisans to showcase their products. Arbor Fair and the Michigan Tree Climbing Championship are great opportunities to learn more about arboriculture and what it offers the consumer when looking for professional tree care services.

Please note: Tents, tables and chairs are not included. Exhibitors must bring their own tent, table and chairs, table covering and company signage. Space is available on a first come, first serve basis. Per park rules, tent may be secured with weights, but not stakes.  If you would like to rent tents, tables, or chairs, please contact ISA Michigan for pricing.

Recreation Passport All vehicles must have a Recreation Passport to enter Belle Isle Park. For just $12 (or $6 for motorcycles), Michigan residents get year-round access to state parks and recreation areas, state forest campgrounds, state trailhead parking and state boat launches. To purchase a Recreation Passport, check "YES" at the time of license plate registration renewal through the Secretary of State or buy one at the park contact station.
