This 1 day course will cover all aspects of chainsaw safety, handling, maintenance including the six-step felling process of how to properly fell a tree also dealing with trees after they are on the ground limbing and bucking. Some hands-on performing of notching, saw handling and felling will be incorporated. This course is MIOSHA M-TEC GRANT FUNDED.

Full day registration includes meals and any materials for the Aerial Rescue Workshop-ALOFT session. This session is limited to 25 Climbers that want to get aloft in the trees during the five (5) scenarios. PPE, climbing gear, and Gear Inspection required.
